Here are a couple poems from Hannah King, the first one inspired by To The Valley of Dragons and the other I guess you could say is about jumping out of real life from time to time to write or visit our favorite worlds of fantasy. Thank you Hannah
summon the drayan
answer the call
assemble the shadow beasts
gather them all
Jandrous comes
His hand seeks the sword
Xandrous schemes
As he strengthens his horde
Dragons assemble
And battle on high
The hunt has begun
The Long Winter in nigh
Gather your armies
Soldiers and captains
And I will lead you
To the valley of dragons
my gift to you, keep up the writing
By Hannah King
I just think that one awesome and I feel honored that she wrote it and allowed me to share it here. This next one is pretty cool too.
sitting on the edge of eternity
with nothing before or behind
a world beyond imagination
with no other of its kind
it beckons softly to only one
that can bend the clouding mist
one true champion to bring it light
but only on paper does it exist
the writer holds his pen aloft
waiting in anticipation
to start the adventure of another's life
to learn of his own creation
Sitting alone his mind stirs
And his world dawns a new day
He sees the land from end to end
Its mountains, rivers and outlay
People awake and take shape
great heroes and enemies
Histories, songs and poems
And battles in fields and cities
These worlds we make are vast
More so then we can know
It rules our thoughts and haunts our dreams
And will never cease to grow
These places will always be there
Behind some far out door
To visit in some time of need
And will be ours forevermore
